Pillar 1: Police Force

Safer streets, faster response, stronger community trust.

  • Hire 600 new police officers to reduce response times and increase neighborhood patrols.

  • Modern equipment: increased funding for firearms and less‑lethal de‑escalation tools and training.

  • 20% pay increase to recruit and retain top talent.

  • Better schedules for sleep, recovery, and peak performance.

  • Mental‑health support and family services for our officers.

  • Fitness & recovery programs to prevent injuries and accelerate return‑to‑duty.

  • 15 new therapy & support K‑9 teams to assist officers and support victims.

  • Double the Community Resource Officers to expand school, youth, and neighborhood outreach.

Pillar 2: Resilience Force

Prevent what’s preventable—and bounce back stronger when crises strike.

  • Led by the Chief Resilience Officer with 300 Resilience & Community Intelligence Officers.

  • Infrastructure hardening for bridges, utilities, and critical sites—including underground/sub‑surface systems.

  • Cybersecurity upgrades with a focus on secure, Canada‑hosted systems and reduced reliance on foreign digital platforms.

  • Specialized training in criminal, fire, and terrorism investigation and threat assessment.

  • Virus & environmental monitoring to track risks early.

  • Smart water‑system monitoring with sensors and planned upgrades to protect supply and quality.

Pillar 3: Fire & Rescue Force

When every second counts, we’ll be ready.

  • Independent Oversight Commission with direct access to Council for transparency.

  • 20% pay increase to recruit and retain top talent.

  • 40 new rapid response medical / emergency units.

  • Hire 600 new fire, rescue, and medical professionals to improve coverage and reduce response times.

  • Sexy Community fundraising calendar (annual)—all proceeds go directly to equipment and wellness programs.

Why it matters

  • Faster responses across police, medical, and fire emergencies.
