The SURGE: GUSTAFSON, Jaeger
I have been consistent and confident. We can lower our taxes and have better quality services.
– Dr. Jaeger Gustafson, Dr.Ac.
With 32% of people choosing something else, NONE OF THE ABOVE, in a recent poll conducted by CityNews Calgary for the 5 establishment candidates.
Just say no to the establishment.
Since 2015 your taxes have continued to increase and satisfaction with City of Calgary services has plummeted.
Since 2015 all establishment candidates have been complicit in the delivery of City services.
Jyoti Gondek (incumbent mayor) — served as mayor since 2021; therefore was complicit in the of the governance structure that oversees city service delivery. Gondek was complicit as a councillor from 2017 to 2021.
Jeff Davison — was a Calgary City Councillor for Ward 6 (2017–2021) which means he was complicit in the municipal governance that oversees city services.
Jeromy Farkas — was a City Councillor for Ward 11 (2017–2021) in Calgary.
Sonya Sharp — current Councillor for Ward 1 (2021–2025).
Brian Thiessen — former Chair of a City of Calgary commission (2016–2019).
Municipal Property taxes have increased in Calgary since 2015. Global News reports that for 2026 the overall property tax increase is proposed at 3.6% but will likely translate to about 5.4% for residential home owners.
A well respect CBC of Calgary whistleblower, with over 30 years of experience at CBC, has come forward and admitted in writing that they, “…prioritised candidates who have spent time in public office.”
CBC producers refused to allow Jaeger Gustafson and other participants to participate in the debate despite multiple requests and evidence of unprecedented public exposure of Jaeger Gustafson’s campaign. They claimed they used polling from Janet Brown who then later, to Global News, recanted, “It’s anybody’s game…”
A more dramatic incident unfolded at the Jack Singer Concert Hall when, without apparent provocation, a visibly upset woman instructed staff from the Calgary Chamber of Commerce to escort Dr. Gustafson from the stage, effectively barring him from participating in the live mayoral debate.
32% of Calgarians agreed that none of the 5 establishment candidates, complicit in the City of Calgary’s declining service satisfaction and higher taxes, are fit for office.

Blocked from the stage, not from the ballot, Dr. Jaeger S. Gustafson, Dr.Ac., is still one of Calgary’s most viable candidates—backed by grassroots energy and real voter engagement that is unusually high for a municipal candidate.
Backed by grassroots energy and genuine voter engagement, Gustafson is now reaching record-breaking levels for a municipal campaign in Calgary.
Current website traffic suggests that Dr. Gustafson could be capturing up to approximately 24 percentage points of the 32% “None of the above” voter segment identified in the CityNews poll.
Ambitious and unprecedented, Jaeger Gustafson’s genuine engagement with people on social media stands out as one of the most unusual dynamics in Calgary’s 2025 mayoral race. On Facebook alone, his campaign has reached over 1.76 million views, generating tens of thousands of meaningful engagements, comments, and shares from Calgarians across every ward.
Verifiable and objective data from Jaeger Gustafson’s Facebook insights has has reached over 1.76 million views.
This surge is authentic, two-way communication that has translated into one of the strongest grassroots candidates in Calgary’s history — a movement driven not by advertising budgets, but by conversation, connection, and community.
The data points reveal a large portion of the electorate still searching for a candidate they can believe in—and Gustafson has emerged as the alternative.

Dr. Jaeger Scot Gustafson’s campaign is built on a simple but transformative principle—Calgary must respect your tax dollars. His strategy of Fiscal Responsibility and Quality Control sets a new standard for city leadership: measure results, eliminate waste, and reinvest savings back into essential services.
Gustafson believes that accountability begins with the example a leader sets—his own self-funded campaign reflects the same discipline he promises to bring to City Hall. By applying business-level quality controls and data-driven management, he aims to restore public trust and ensure every tax dollar delivers measurable value to Calgarians.

Dr. Gustafson believes that responsible leadership doesn’t end with financial integrity—it begins there. His plan introduces a Perpetual Cycle of Innovation, focused on revamping procedural bylaws and transforming Calgary’s governance model into one that continuously learns, adapts, and improves.
Through a modernized system of committees and subcommittees, every community will have the opportunity to contribute directly to city decisions.
This approach ensures transparency, accountability, and creative problem-solving—building a government that listens, learns, and leads with purpose.

We will start with a Public Discovery Session starting on November 4, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. MT.
As temperatures drop, we face a life-and-death reality. I have personally witnessed people immobilized by dangerous street drugs—standing frozen like statues on our streets. We must not allow a single person to die outside this winter.
That’s why our first operational directive is clear:
When you call for help, it comes fast.
