At the Ranchman’s Club mayoral debate on September 24, 2025, a moment of unity emerged. When asked who they would support, the top four of Calgary’s conventional candidates—Mayor Jyoti Gondek, Sonya Sharp, Jeromy Farkas, and Jeff Davison—all pointed to Jaeger Gustafson.

All four of Calgary’s conventional frontrunners admitted the same truth: if they could not lead the city, Gustafson should. It was a moment for the history books in Calgary, Alta.

Their comments highlighted Gustafson’s innovative approach. Gondek called him “thoughtful” and appreciated the levity and fresh ideas he brought to the debate. Davison remarked, “He’s got awesome ideas,” while Sharp and Farkas echoed their agreement.

What stood was the once-in-a-generation endorsement, that represented: a harmonious moment of consensus in a heated race. Gustafson’s presence brings proof that creative thinking and bridge-building can inspire agreement.

These endorsements positioned Gustafson’s as the next innovator, consensus-builder, and leader in for Calgary and Alberta’s future.

Gustafson’s words echoed as he addressed the audience gathered before him at the Ranchman’s Club, “I am looking for leaders. Leaders are people who move others to action. And the best way we can move people to action is by sharing our vision.”

The audience listened closely, many nodding as his words landed.

“The vision right now is Mayor Gustafson,” he continued, pointing the audience toward the next step. “And we can learn to vote together at MayorGus.ca.”
